INVESTITURE CEREMONY

State Public School , Jal. Cantt. bestows upon its students the ability to be future leaders of the world. Keeping up with this thought, Investiture Ceremony was held inside the school premises with enthusiasm and gusto. A 28 membered school parliament has been formed and the whole school was made aware of the election process, which familiarizes the students on how democracy works in the whole world. Students were nominated on the basis of discipline, academic record and behavior so that they can be role models to their fellow school mates. It was a proud moment for the school council to be honoured by President of the school, Dr. Narotam Singh and Vice President Dr. Gagandeep Kaur. They pinned badges and sashes t these newely elected members and also delivered a motivational speech. Elected members took an oath to live up to the expectations and work in synchronization with the mission of the school. The Principal of the school, Ms. Savina Bahl, congratulated the elected members and gave her vote of thanks to the parents to spare their valuable time to be the part f this occasion. She also motivated the students that leadership means action and not just holding a position of authority. The action of a leader should be to inspire others to do more, be more and achieve more.

 

POOL PARTY

In order to beat the heat waves, State Public School, Jal. Cantt. conducted a pool party for the students of classes nursery to 2nd inside the school premises. Kids jumped into the splash pool to the sound of high volume music vibrations. The celebratory music beats at the party made the surroundings more delightful and the kids enjoyed in the pool to the sound of the beats. The children were very happy and their fondness for the party displayed on their happy faces. They shared their lunch boxes and learnt the values of sharing. Principal of the school, Ms. Savina Bahl said, “l love watching the enthusiasm and excitement on the faces of our children.” The idea of the pool party was indeed a great start to the summer holidays.

Kudos to our Grade 10 students. 7 students got 10 CGPA and the school's result was 100%. Congratulations to all the stakeholders (parents, teachers, and the students).

State Public School Jalandhar Cantt celebrated Labour’s Day

To honour the dignity of the labours, State Public School,Jal Cantt celebrated Labour’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event presented an opportunity to understand the importance of involvement of the supporting staff.  Tiny toddlers gave them beautiful flowers as the token of respect and thankfulness as they are doing their work with great dedication and selflessness. Students were also told about the importance of this day and they were sensitized about dignity of every work which is done with dedication and devotion. Principal, Ms. Savina Bahl, addressed the students to help the auxiliary staff to maintain the cleanliness of the school and give them respect also.

 

SPS JAL CANTT. Organized CYCLE RALLY

To foster peace and national integration among youth of the country, State Public School, Jal Cantt.  organized ‘Cycle Rally’ in which classes 6^th to 9^th participated enthusiastically. As per the guidance of mentors the President Narotam Singh and Vice President Dr. Gagagandeep Kaur school has introduced ‘Social Responsibility Club’. The aim of this club is to spread awareness among common people about ardent need to know the importance of peace, harmony and brotherhood in this fast paced world. As the procession of students passed through the thorough fares of the Cantt market , Lal Kurti, Raina Park and Solankhi area and made people aware about the importance of peace and harmony and also motivated them to shun violence and adopt the path of brotherhood. Principal, Ms. Savina Bahl, expressed the hope that the rallyist will befitting ambassadors of peace and harmony for people and it would act as a morale booster for the troop.
